As an Internal Communications & Corporate Responsibility Intern on the People and Culture Group team, support the execution of strategies and programs that inform, and influence our inclusive workforce and positively impact our communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of internal communications, content creation, and employee engagement tasks. This position will remain open until September 5, 2025.
This combines both strategic leadership and hands-on execution of communications with high-level organizational support to ensure CARMA operates effectively while communicating its critical work with clarity and impact. As a focused organization addressing complex challenges in AI safety, CARMA maintains a lean team structure where team members take on complementary responsibilities. Understanding this space is an important prerequisite to being able to do well in this role.
In this vital role, you will support impactful communication strategies to elevate the visibility of Amgen’s rare disease pipeline and drive global engagement. You will collaborate closely with the US Rare Disease Portfolio Communications team to apply best practices and learnings, ensuring consistency in messaging and approach across regions, handle ongoing relationships with patients, build communications toolkits, and support global insights-gathering initiatives.
